Ego Bondage
The ego will always object to the intrusion of the Spirit and will fight for it’s life. It (the ego) will do it’s best to convince one that living life by the spirit is futile and is bound to go nowhere. It will seduce it’s host with ideas of what it deserves and how this life ought to look. Ego will push, pull and cause harm in order to be victorious. It is the great trickster as it resides in the mind along with pride and the army of defects always looking for a way to annihilate its host.
An ego which is threatened is cable of doing anything to ensure it’s survival regardless of the damage it will leave in its path. When ego driven, one is left alone and in the dark wondering what else can it get in order to feel whole. On the other hand when moved by the Spirit (or if you will living from the Soul) one is not attached, driven or causing harm, but rather is called. In the Spiritual walk, one is awake and sees love.
Moved by the Spirit, one is free compared to the ego which is bondage. Yet the ego will continue fighting to win us back but the Spirit will continue loving us as it has never left.
