Water is key to the body’s detoxification process. We need to make sure our bodies are properly hydrated to maintain our bodily functions. This is especially important for anyone that is recovering from addiction. Hydration will help your liver flush toxins from the body. Hydration can also help reduce cravings and withdrawals.
How can I tell I’m dehydrated? Here are some common signs:
1. Thirsty
2. Muscle cramps
3. Not urinating or darker urine
4. Headaches, dizziness or lightheadedness
5. Fatigue
6. Less skin elasticity
