You might not know what ingredients are in the items at a gathering. If you are not sure, bring your own drink or ask your host. Better safe than sorry. - Get your supporters around you.
One of the best things to do is to tap Into your support system. If possible, go to a 12-step fellowship meeting. Spend time with people who understand and support your recovery journey. - Set a cut-off time
Ending a night on time can help you stay on your recovery journey. When you stay late, you may be more tired and more likely to engage in temptations you wouldn’t normally.
